When arriving in the MCAGCC Twentynine Palms area by plane, the nearest major airport is the Palm Springs International Airport which is located about 24 miles from the base. There are no military shuttles from the airport to the base, but the Morongo Basin Transit Authority does offer bus service from the Palm Springs International Airport. Rental cars are available on-site as well. If arriving by car, take Interstate 10 to Highway 62 and travel approximately 42 miles to the town of Twentynine Palms. At Adobe Road, take a left and travel 3 miles to the main gate at MCAGCC Twentynine Palms.
